The Harvest girl
One of four girls chosen for the Harvest — a ritual in which the coven sacrifices four of its own to renew its connection to the Ancestors. Three died; Marcel's vampires carried her off before her throat was cut and was hidden by Marcel Gerard in an attic, where he used her power to suppress the very covens she came from.
She becomes Regent of the nine covens, destroys the Ancestors entirely, dies, is resurrected, and eventually leaves New Orleans with Kol Mikaelson. She is the most powerful witch the city has produced in centuries and spends most of her life being someone else's instrument.
