Vampires
Isobel Flemming
Isobel Saltzman
A researcher into local vampire folklore who married Alaric Saltzman and then had herself turned by Damon Salvatore, abandoning both her husband and the daughter she had given up at sixteen. She works for Klaus, then for John Gilbert, then for herself, and is never straightforwardly on anyone's side.
She meets Elena twice, is cold both times, and then walks into the sun in front of her under Klaus's compulsion.
Details
- Her disappearance is what turns Alaric into a vampire hunter, which is how he ends up in Mystic Falls at all.
