Witches & Magic
Sheila Bennett
Grams
Bonnie's maternal grandmother — Abby's mother — a professor, and the witch who teaches Bonnie what she is. She dies in 2009 from the strain of opening the tomb — a favour to Damon Salvatore, who wanted Katherine out of it.
She reappears from the Other Side more than once, including at the very end, to push Bonnie and Damon somewhere rather than let them be unmade.
Details
- Silas spends most of a season impersonating her to manipulate Bonnie, which is among the cruellest things in the show.
