The Mystic Falls Codex

Leader of the Gemini coven, and the man who sealed his own son into a prison world and raised two more sets of twins knowing what the Merge would do to them. The coven's lives are linked to whoever leads it. Kai takes the leadership by winning the Merge — and then cuts his own throat, and every Gemini witch on Earth, Joshua included, dies with him.
