Witches & Magic
Josette Laughlin
Jo
Kai's twin sister, who buried her own magic in a knife rather than merge with him, and lived for twenty years as an ordinary doctor. She marries Alaric Saltzman and is murdered by Kai at the reception while pregnant with their twins.
The twins are saved by a Gemini spell that moves them into Caroline Forbes. Jo is briefly resurrected in Legacies and gets one conversation with the daughters she never met.
Details
- Her death is the pivot the last three seasons of TVD turn on, and the origin of the whole of Legacies.
