Witches & Magic
Malachai Parker
Kai
A siphoner born to the Gemini coven with no magic of his own, treated as an abomination by his own father, and a genuine sociopath who murdered four of his siblings at twenty-two. He was sealed in a 1994 prison world for eighteen years until Bonnie Bennett and Damon Salvatore landed there and he came back out with them.
He merges with his twin Luke, murders his sister Jo at her own wedding to Alaric, links Elena's life to Bonnie's so that Elena sleeps until Bonnie dies, and wipes out the Gemini coven by cutting his own throat while leading it — every Gemini life was tied to his. He returns in Legacies to menace the next generation of Gemini twins and is beheaded by Alaric.
Details
- His exit from the prison world required the ascendant, a Bennett witch's blood and a celestial event, which is why he needed Bonnie specifically.
- He removes two of the show's leads from play — Elena and Jo — in a single scene at a wedding.
