The daughter of Vicente Cruz, a hunter of the Brotherhood of the Five, given eight lives by the shamans who died to make her sword. Her blade brands a vampire, and the mark makes every other vampire on Earth hunt whoever carries it. Her Phoenix Stone traps vampire souls in bespoke hells built out of their own worst memories.
She marks Stefan Salvatore, which is what drives him to New Orleans and produces the best crossover the two shows ever did.
Details
- Damon and Stefan both spend time inside the Phoenix Stone and neither comes out right.
- The mark eventually passes to Bonnie Bennett, turning her into the target of every vampire alive.
