A Founders' son who triggers the Lockwood werewolf gene in a car accident he causes, without knowing the gene exists. He is turned into one of Klaus's hybrids and sire-bonded to him, spends a season working out how to break the bond, and leads the hybrid defection when Elena's blood makes it possible.
He crosses to New Orleans early in The Originals to take revenge on Klaus and finds out about Hayley's pregnancy. Damon, under Sybil's control, kills him in 2016 and leaves the body in a car boot.

- The Lockwoods kept a cellar under their property for generations without any of them naming what it was for.
